db@net completed successfully a complex Oracle RAC expansion in collaboration with its North American Office.

As part of the project - three Oracle RACs were established in order to provide a good responsiveness for a high-transaction application. In order to keep the system highly available the design requested a geo-redundant architecture for this application. Therefore, a correspondent RAC was designed and deployed for each RAC in the production system. The correspondent RACs were kept synchronized by utilizing the Dataguard architecture.

The expansion project included full end-to-end integration tests that were conducted in Israel, while the integration in the production system was done in North America by db@net local office at Palo Alto, California.
